Michael has kindly agreed to sign copies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About Michael<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Served <strong>30+ years in the Australian Army<\/strong>, retiring with the rank of Colonel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operational deployments to <strong>East Timor, Bougainville, Iraq, and two tours of Afghanistan<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Served in Jerusalem with the <strong>United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation<\/strong>, working across Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since October 7, founded <strong>The 2023 Foundation<\/strong>, a grassroots international initiative combating antisemitism through lived experience, education, and cultural exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holds <strong>multiple degrees, including an MBA<\/strong> from the Australian Graduate School of Management and NYU Stern School of Business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Though not Jewish, he is an <strong>Honorary Life Member of Emanuel Synagogue<\/strong> in recognition of his steadfast support of the Jewish community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to welcoming  Michael to our shabbat service<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*registration closes on the 9th of March at 9pm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cremorne Synagogue is honoured to host Colonel Michael Scott CSC at our Mevarachim Lunch on Saturday, 14 March.
